Hairy Scary Hamish

Hey everyone,

So, A while back, my good friend Amy gave me a "Munny" for Christmas. It's an unpainted maquette, with which you are to do as you please (within the realm of decency of course). So I painted it up like a Hairy Scary Scotsman, and gave it back to her. Is that rude??? I couldn't decide for a while. Meh. Anyway, here are some photos of the process and final product.

First, I penciled and blocked in the scary hair.

Then I added some black outline, and a spiffy tartan kilt.

The arms went on, and so did the wee sheep tattoo.

Voila!

The series is complete!.....almost

Here's the Blond and Red Head I promised.

The Brunette posted yesterday is in slight reconstruction.

The pure black hair is a bit overwhelming when next to these two in the series.

The Ol' Switch-a-rooooooo

My good friend Abby and I decided to hold a good old fashion painting trade.

This is acrylic on canvas, and was taken from an old sketch I posted a while back that Abby particularly enjoyed.

The photo kind of screws up the colours.

Her eyes are much brighter, but you get the idea.

A blond and a red head are up next!
